Activation and Passwords  | ||
Finally, an update! I've updated the login system to be more secure. It now also includes email activation, which should hopefully reduce the amount of spam memberships. What this means is, when you register or have lost your password your account is "inactive", you must (re)activate it. An e-mail is sent to you containing the url. Go to the url either by clicking it or copy-and-pasting it to your address bar, your account will be activated. Passwords are now more secure, as they're encrypted. Unfortunately when adding this all current passwords got changed. I do apologise for this. To login to your account you'll need to use the lost password feature. This will now reset your password and send you an activation e-mail. Use the url to activate the account and use the new password to log in. You can change your password by using the "Change Password" link in the Members section when logged in.
Membership is now required for posting comments. |
